About this painting:

‘Sunny Day, Cadgwith Cove’ Buildings and boats hold a constant fascination for me. It’s partly the shapes, partly the colours (a lot of Cornish coastal villages have coloured houses), and partly the way they look once I’ve simplified them down.

This is all about the sunshine, a British Summer's day and the gorgeous colours of this cute place. May this semi abstract acrylic painting bring happiness and sunshine to wherever it lands.

Frequently asked questions

Most of my original paintings are created with acrylic paints, which means they are easy to wipe clean if something were to splash on it. Some work is in aqua oil and so you could wipe with a dry cloth, but not with water and a cleaning product. Both surfaces are best away from high temperatures, especially the acrylics. Your artwork should easily last 100 years or more if looked after well. :)
